ABOUT ME

Hello. I’m Jojo and I have over 11 years of hula hooping experience. I am a Hoop Love Coach and certified fitness instructor. I am excited about sharing the hooplove and the wonderful health benefits it can provide, not only the cardiovascular improvements, but also coordination and balance. Not to mention how much fun it is. One of the greatest rewards for me is seeing the smiles and joy on peoples faces.

I’ve successfully completed CERTIFICATE III in Fitness (Group Fitness and Gym Instructor) and CERTIFICATE IV in Fitness (Personal Trainer). As you can see I am passionate about hooping and fitness and am thrilled to bring the two together and provide a service to those wanting to get fit whilst having fun.

Coolangatta Hula Hoop Classes

Hula Hoop Classes

Learn to Hula Hoop Classes Tuesday’s 6:30pm – 7:30pm 2021 at Tweed Heads / Coolangatta at QCWA Hall. This course starts from the beginning. No experience necessary. You will learn foundational moves and includes onbody and offbody hooping such as waist hooping, controlling the hoop on your hand, hoop weaves around your body, exploring the different planes of movement. We will cover an introduction to ‘Hoop Flow’ and ‘Hoop Dance’.

Tuesday 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
$20 casual class.
$15 concession.
$70 for 4 classes.

Hula Hoops provided for the class and hoops are available for purchase, with a discount for class participants, so you can practice at home.

 

Beginners Hula Hoop Course can run at a time that suits you.

Get a group of 4 or more together and the ‘4 week Beginners Learn to Hula Hoop Classes’ can run at a time that suits your group. I can even come to your group if you have a space to hula hoop in. I’ll bring the hula hoops and the music and the experience !!!

 

TWEED HEADS HOOPFiT Classes Coming soon !

HOOPFiT Aerobics Beginners HOOPFiT Class. This is a 60 minute Cardio fitness class using hula hoops. This class is so much fun you won’t think that you are working out. This class burns calories, increases cardio fitness, coordination and balance.

 

TWEED HEADS HoopJams

Hoopjams are where hoopers and nonhoopers hang out for a while and share tricks, have a play, see how it feels to hoop or just to move that body. Tweed Heads HoopJams run once a month on the FIRST THURSDAY of the month 1:30pm – 3pm. You can find out more here >>>
